Opinion is what's in your mind, what do you think of something and your perspective on different things. For example, if your teacher asks what the students think about school, your class will have tons of different opinions (All of you will probably have the same opinion but you get the point). Opinions are also used in votes to choose specific people or things. In our school, opinion takes place everywhere. Students can choose what to do during breaks and free time, how to behave in class and how to cope with their surroundings. Opinions will affect students greatly and our school helps students learn which opinion is good or bad for them, family and friends. The main point is that no opinion is wrong. God also have opinions like choosing to fill the world with living things to make it less lonely. Also we have the opinion of whether to serve God or not.
Galatians 1:10 ESV / 43 helpful votes
For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.
Fact is totally different from opinion, its is something that actually happened or what something really is correct. For example like 7 x 7 is obviously 49 as it is already a fact. In our world, facts are everywhere, even the world dying because of global warming is a fact. Unlike opinions, which usually is what people want, facts can make people happy or sad, even excited or angry! In our school, students needing to follow rules is a fact, like eating in class is not permitted is already decided as a fact and that we need to wear fully black shoes is also a fact. Facts in our school helps student progress to become better, even leaders one day. In reality, facts are needed to keep the world balanced and that Jesus was crucified is a fact and that God created the world is a fact.
Jeremiah 10:12 - "He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens at His discretion."
Now for the final part, which is a little bit confusing to understand because you think it's probably same with fact. Truth is the reality behind something existing or happening. If you want to know the difference between truth and fact, 7 x 7= 49 is a fact, but the truth is that you need to add 7 by 7 for seven times. Also like that rules exist in our school because it helps students be better people or to make sure they're safe. Truth helps our students know there is meaning for everything and help us know what is good and what is bad. For example students will get angry if they are not allowed to eat at class, but if they are told that it will make the class dirty, they will rethink and change their opinion not the fact. It helps use get a reason behind everything, God dying to become our saviour so that we can meet him in heaven.
John 14:6 (Phi) "I myself am the way and the truth and the life. No one approaches the Father except through me."
After we know the different between truth, fact and opinion, it will change our lives forever and hopefully bring us closer to God.
